Love the weekend

There's only 2 weekend out of the month J, S & I get to spend together because of James' roster. It kinda sucks but every week is starting to blur into the next. I've been super busy but with what...i couldnt tell you. Time is just flying by and when J comes home life gets busier then ever which I hate. I feel like its supposed to be relax time for the three of us but it rarely is.
This past weekend we decided we needed some time out and a scenery change. We drove the hour to Brisbane to stay in the city with James' parents who are down there for work.
travelling with a baby is super hectic but so so worth it.
The husband and I left the kid with his grandparents and went treking through the city mall. It's crazy how different little things are without a child. we actually got to hold hands as we walked, we got to stroll at a leisurly, look in shops for as long as we pleased. It was much needed.
We're doing it all over again this weekend coming because its James' birthday saturday. We're going to have some adult beverages also, woo party times.
So today i am thankful for a great weekend and for a pretty awesome kid.
